The purpose of ACB nuclear waste compacting presses is to reduce the volume of nuclear wastes enclosed in a drum while keeping all radioactive particles within a safe enclosure. Type of nuclear wastes : Clothes, papers, liquid effluents, steels and any kind of wastes, organic and non-organic wastes, metallic parts... The compacting reduces the height of drums, down to one single diameter to obtain a puck.  Compacting Curve:The Height reduction depends on the type of material enclosed in the drums. |
